We are looking for a Treasurer to start on 1 January 2024  - posted 07/11/23


The Treasurer is part of the Executive committee and may represent the Executive Committee in legal and out of court proceedings. 

The Treasurer participates in all Executive and General Council meetings and is responsible for correspondence with the accountant and preparing all documents for the annual finance report as well as bi-annual Executive meeting report. 

Routine duties involve sending out invoices (i.e. membership), processing reimbursements (i.e. evaluation team members) and corresponding in all financial matters with the Council members. 

Further tasks may involve updating finance documents, correspondence with a notary in case of constitution changes or assisting the Executive with other matters arising. 

The Treasurer is included in various event planning tasks. Such as proposing an event location (including conference venue) and gathering quotes to propose to the Executive. 

In general, the Treasure will perform all duties appropriate to the office of Treasurer and have such other duties and exercise such authority as from time to time may be delegated or assigned to him/her by the President or by the Council. 

The Treasurer will attend virtual (weekly) meetings, attend two face-to-face meetings within Europe and up to 5-10 hours work from home per week. 


This Treasurer would suit a candidate who is

  • competent in Microsoft packages, including Excel
  • excellent in planning and organising workload
  • experienced in preparing and presenting financial reports
  • able to travel to meetings (in Europe) when required

Having an understanding of the work of ECCE is preferred but not essential

The ECCE underwent an external review coordinated by ENQA(European Association for Quality Assurance of Higher Education).  We are pleased to announce that the ECCE has been awarded full membership for 5 years.

SPCE Lifetime Achievement Award - posted 28/3/23

On 27 March 2023, the Society for Promoting Chiropractic Education (SPCE) presented its Lifetime Achievement Award to Kenneth Vall for his outstanding vision, dedication and commitment to promoting excellence in chiropractic education, internationally.
